I watched this a when it originally aired. What a joke...I mean I will be the first to say it's cool that Rush was on there, but #75?!?! It's one big popularity contest, honestly. Most of the artists were pop and hip hop. A list with this title surely needs to include Yes and Frank Zappa! They included Genesis, but dismissed their 70's music as "when Peter Gabriel used to dress up as flowers and they played songs that went on for 9 hours!". Their entire 80's catalog up until today is poppy garbage! No offense, but it's soo obvious that Phil Collins was trying to make hits and that's it!
ReplyDeleteSadly, the way it turned out was exactly the way I thought it would. :/
