CBC to Release Neil Peart Documentary 'No One’s Disciple' This Fall
UPDATE 9/2: The official trailer just dropped, check it out below! The trailer shows Geddy and Alex playing Rush tunes with Stuart Copeland (The Police), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree), Danny Carey (Tool) and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers).
As Rush return to the road, now with a new drummer and a keyboardist, their late timekeeper Neil Peart is being remembered with a CBC documentary.
Neil Peart: No One's Disciple will air on September 23 as part of the documentary series The Passionate Eye. According to an announcement, the doc will "[explore] rock's most enigmatic drummer through rare archival footage, intimate reflections and extraordinary live performances."
It was created by Banger Films. A still provided by the CBC (above) shows surviving Rush members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson jamming with RHCP drummer Chad Smith.
