"Rush - The Day I Was There" Now Available

Rush - The Day I Was There
is now available.   Published November 13, 2020, the book contains over 400 fan memories of seeing Rush live and tells their story through previously unpublished eyewitness accounts.

The author/compiler of the book is Richard Houghton, who lives in Manchester, England. Richard is the author of more than a dozen music books and his The Day I Was There series encompasses acts including Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath.

Richard only saw Rush once, on the Moving Pictures tour, but has reached out to Rush fans from around the world to hear their memories, whether a handful of shows or a hundred.

Richard said: ‘I started on this book some 18 months ago. I paused when Neil passed as I wasn’t sure it was the right thing to do, but lots of people said to me that I absolutely should finish the book. Hopefully it is a fitting tribute to him and to the band. There’s such a lot of affection and respect amongst Rush fans for Geddy, Alex and Neil and that shines through in the book.’

Rush - The Day I Was There is available to order from This Day In Music Books now:
