  1. Spectacular show. Really loved Camera Eye - Lerxt was really enjoying playing it. Really good sound and I can't wait to see the whole thing in November. First in line I am!

  2. Nice sound - however probably my least favorite camera work of the shows released in the last decade. Camera choice seem to not always be on cue at important points....for instance, they were showing fans when Neil was doing one of his fantastic drum fills on Witch Hunt, on another, they did a extreme distant shot. Still, I have three on order - one for me, and one each for my two sons!

  3. I can't believe I still have to wait 'til November to see this! I did see them on this tour in London though. There was a guy on my row who actually shouted out "I could do that!" during the drum solo!

  4. Saw it last night and was disappointed for the same reasons as Unknown above said. Camera work is bad and distracting. Too many cuts, and there's a distant shot seemingly every 4 or 5 cuts. We GET that there's a good crowd there -- shots from the cheap seats of the backs of people's heads is not why people buy these things! Big step down from S&A Live, unfortunately.

  5. I thought it was great. I will also agree with the camera shot issue. The shots they had were kind of off. It was weird. The only other problem I had with THIS presentation of the video is that they skipped 7 of the songs! I didn't understand why they wouldn't just play all of it. They were playing Rush all day anyways. haha

  6. @Mike2112: It makes sense what you're saying, but there's a reason they do those sort of things. It's simply because they want people to buy the DVD/Blu-ray. If they played the whole concert, then most people would just DVR the whole thing and not even think about supporting the greatest rock band on the planet. It's funny, because with the exception of "Marathon" (my all-time fav) they skipped over all the songs that I REALLY wanted to see them perform.

Sorry folks, but La Villa Strangiato is gonna cost ya $20 ;)
